Online PMO User Group: Change Management at Solidaris
QRP International has a long experience in organizing training for project, programme and portfolio managers. Over the years, QRP has supported many professionals and their organisation in setting up and running a PMO. For this edition we will meet each other online, allowing participants from anywhere to join.
ABOUT THE USER GROUP
Following training is the first step toward introducing new habits and ways of work. Translating that inspiration into practical action is the next critical step.
However, in the standard training program this stage is rarely included as part of the course, leaving each participant to navigate the process alone. The journey to successfully implementing what you have learned can therefore be challenging and isolating, especially since a strategic PMO often consists of only a few individuals – or even a single person – within large organisations.
This user group aims to address this need by bringing together professionals with similar backgrounds and profiles to exchange experiences and discuss specific topics related to PMO management. During each edition, a participant(s) will introduce a PMO-related topic, which will then serve as the starting point for discussion among the group.
DISCUSSION TOPICS JUNE 2026
The topic of this edition of our PMO User Group will be: Change Management at Solidaris Brabant.
We have asked Laurent Bourgois & Geert Leunis to share their Change journey. Following a survey done in 2024 that highlighted some internal challenges, the organisation embarked on a comprehensive Change Management trajectory.
Laurent and Geert will share their cases, propose you some challenges they have overcome or are still dealing with and will touch upon topics such as:
- the evolution of the organisation’s culture and methodology
- key pillars of the change management program, including AI adoption, digitalisation and automation
- practical steps Solidaris Brababt is using to guide their teams through change
- strategies for ethical change management in a service-oriented organisation operating between public and private sectors
- theoretical insights from our Change Management trainer
This session will be held virtually, so we will not host discussions. However, it will be interactive, with opportunities to share your thoughts and reflections and ask questions.
