AgilePM Foundation Training and Certification

The AgilePM Foundation course is designed for people who require a general level of Agile Project Management understanding.

The AgilePM Foundation Training aims to ensure that a candidate has sufficient knowledge and understanding of the AgilePM guide to participate in an AgilePM project as a team member or a stakeholder.

Following the completion of the Agile PM Foundation course participants should be able to:

  • Describe the core principles and philosophy of AgilePM, and distinguish AgilePM from traditional project management approaches
  • Define the roles and responsibilities within an AgilePM project and illustrate their collaboration in delivering project outcomes
  • Create and refine Multi-level Plans based on Timeboxing, and modifying plans based on evolving project needs and stakeholder feedback.
  • Integrate leadership and quality management practices to ensure high-quality solutions and identify and mitigate risks using AgilePM techniques and tools.
  • Employ effective communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement strategies to focus on the business value delivered by projects, ensure alignment with the Business Case and Business Vision, and perform post-project reviews for continuous improvement.
  • Pass the AgilePM Foundation exam.

  • Professionals looking to increase the agility of their projects in the face of Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity (VUCA) in their operating/market environment

Upon successful completion of the exam and following confirmation of the results, the participants will receive a unique, secure and auditable electronic certificate from APMG International.

It is desirable, but not essential, that participants have some work-experience on projects. Some pre-read material is provided prior to the training and is expected to be fully read before attending the course.
