ITIL Strategy (Version 5) Course

ITIL Strategy (Version 5) is about setting direction and deciding where to invest when things keep changing. It teaches you how to build a strategy, put it into practice, and keep adjusting it as circumstances shift, rather than writing a plan that is out of date within a quarter.

It is one of the two modules in the ITIL Strategic Leader (Version 5) path, together with ITIL Transformation. To take it you need any ITIL 4 certification or ITIL Foundation (Version 5).

What the course covers:

• The ITIL Strategy Management Model
• How a strategy is developed, and separately, how it actually gets implemented
• How to keep technology spending aligned with what the business is trying to achieve
• Governance, talent, trust, and how investment decisions get made and defended
• Getting ready for fast change and new technology, including AI

It is written for leaders who set strategy, but also for the people one and two levels down who have to make it work in practice.
