PMO Usergroup 2020

QRP International has a long experience in organising training for project, programme and portfolio managers. QRP has assisted many professionals and their organization in setting up and running a PMO. Following a training is a first step in getting inspired. Translating this inspiration into practice is the second step and in traditional training, this is not part of a course and each delegate is left alone. The road to successfully implement what you have learned is often hard and lonely as a strategic PMO is just a few (or even one) persons within a large organisation.

ABOUT THE USER GROUP

This user group has the aim to respond to this need. The goal is to bring similar backgrounds and profiles together to discuss specific topics within PMO management.

The structure of this particular session has been slightly adapted to make the discussion more organic. This time several participants from the audience will present their own cases (see below) before opening the discussion to the rest of the participants. A few QRP experts will be present to support the discussion on the theory-side.

You have followed the course, passed the exam and are now a proud owner of an ITIL certificate. But what do you do next, how do you actually apply ITIL on a daily basis? ITIL is created to adopt and adapt, to tailor to your organization, but that is easier than said. That is why we invited our expert and trainer Kais Albassir to host a series of online ITIL user events.

During this first session, Kais will share his take on the ITIL application and provide some insights, tips & tricks and lessons learned. However, we also like your input. At the start of the event we will have a poll where we decide together the topic to discuss. The topics of which you can choose are the following:

• From ITILv3 to ITIL 4: what are the differences? Why should we go to ITIL 4? What will it bring us?
• Problem management: how to implement problem management and make it work with Incident Management to leave the catch 22
• Portfolio management (service, product, supplier, customer,…) and service catalogue
• Structure: is there a maximum of what you can handle?
• How to convince Senior Management?

The Trail & Error; applying ITIL event is aimed at those with profound experience with ITIL (v3 or 4). It is highly encouraged to share your own experiences/challenges with ITIL.

What does Agile mean to you? At which level do you apply Agility and what is the actual Agile maturity within your organization? These questions might seem easy, but they are more difficult than what they look like. This is because there are many different perspectives on Agile and lots of different frameworks. This can lead to confusion and stagnation of a change that could actually be very helpful for your organization. 

We asked our AgilePM expert and trainer Kim Delgadillo to host a webinar about the different Agile Frameworks. He will answer whether and when it is worth it to adopt and apply an Agile work methodology. As an experienced consultant he has made the wrong decisions in the past and learned very much from it. What about the ITIL 4 intermediate modules? What are the available options after achieving the ITIL 4 Foundation qualification?

Axelos offers a new ITIL4 certification scheme. The certification scheme offers two different streams: ITIL Managing Professional (ITIL MP) and ITIL Strategic Leader (ITIL SL). Each stream is composed by several modules: 4 for ITIL MP and 2 for ITIL SL.

In order to give you all the information about the new ITIL certification scheme, we asked  the ITIL Expert, Kaïs Albassir, to present us the new ITIL 4 intermediate modules in a series of 30 minutes webinars.

The fourth, and last, webinar of the series is focused on ITIL 4 Strategist; High Velocity IT (ITIL 4 HVIT). This module prepares you and your organization for a High Velocity environment. It will help you tackle different issues and get ready for the future of work.
